We were right to have high hopes for Ben and Brittany’s wedding. A couple as perfect together as they are simply saying “I do” would have sufficed. But from the time Brittany got ready with her favorite girls to the time she exited with her favorite boy, the day bursted at the seams with how love’s supposed to be. What a treasure to find it and to celebrate it.
If there’s one thing for certain about Ben and Brittany it’s that they are both well loved. Their wedding party consisted of family and friends overjoyed for this day. Nearly every aspect of the wedding had people in Ben and Brittany’s life lend their talents to contribute beauty, from flowers to hair and chalk art and more. What makes Ben and Brittany the most well loved is how much they love each other. It’s what made the day so enjoyable, and what will make their life the same.
Smoky Hollow Studios was the perfect blend of elegance and industry. El Segundo, California is where Brittany’s father, Richard, who passed away 2 years ago served as a police officer for 30 years, so finding this gem of a venue in a city near and dear to the bride was most appropriate. Ben and Brittany’s first look took place in the upstairs bridal suite and couldn’t have been sweeter. They kissed and embraced for a moment together before kicking off the best day of their lives.
In a drop dead gorgeous dress and an equally as GQ suit, the bride and groom exchanged vows in a room full of the people they love. Brittany’s friend and fellow pastor led a personable and anointed ceremony. At one point the guests extended hands and prayers toward the couple to bless and support the marriage to be - a great way to start life as Mr. and Mrs. Park.
Tasty food and drinks, tear and laugh-filled toasts, photo booth fun and the dance party of the century (or at least the summer) made for one lively and lovely reception. Most everyone in attendance at some point could be found on the dance floor, singing and sweating and shaking it all in the name of forever love. Ben and Brittany’s grand exit was lit by sparklers that made the night as bright as everyone felt - happy and hopeful for the freshly wed Parks, who were good on their own but great side by side. Love is a beautiful thing, worthy of the exceptional celebration it received by Ben and Brittany and company.
Congratulations, Brittany and Ben! We are thankful to know your love story and for all the good it will bring to the world.
