Drew & Jenna’s Engagement

We’re always stoked to meet fellow couples who, like us, have their hearts in 2 places: California and Tennessee. There are more of us these days, and it’s a soul-lifter when our paths meet.

Drew and Jenna are the realest mix of California cool and Southern sweet. They beam with warmth and vibrance, and we became instant friends. We had the privilege of shooting their proposal in Nashville at lovely Cheekwood, then their engagement session in LA’s lively Venice Beach, where they call home.

We started out at Great White, their chic first date spot. We caught up over drinks, Drew and Jenna’s treat, then began our shoot, which felt more like an adventure with friends (2 madly in love, beautiful friends). We walked the iconic streets of Venice turning heads, Jenna and Drew were celeb-level stunning.

LA traffic kept us from our planned Malibu sunset spot, but luckily California beaches are gorgeous anywhere the last moments of the sun. A bottle of champagne (and a third perfect outfit change) capped our very enjoyable evening.

It seemed we found gold everywhere we went, but Jenna and Drew are radiant wherever they go. The way they look at each other, the way they compliment each other, their style and their love, from coast to coast they’re an IRL dream. We’re happy they found each other (after both growing up in South Africa and later making their way to the same US cities, no less!), and we’re happy to call them pals. These images show what we know to be true - they’re meant to be forever, for an exceptional life.
