Alli & Johnny’s Engagement

Alli and Johnny are a cute, country-loving couple who live in Dallas, but they met and spent the first couple years of their relationship in the rad city of Chicago.

When they asked us if we could do their summer engagement session there, of course we said YES. Chicago is iconic. Big but not overwhelming, and a great mix of old architecture and new. It’s lively, artistic, and the Lake Michigan water proximity is gorgeous.

The summer tourist crowds were in full effect, but it added good energy to Alli and Johnny’s photo session adventure in the city where their relationship began.

Whether in the south or midwest, no matter where their future takes them, Chicago will always have a piece of their hearts. They were excellent tour guides, and we covered all the spots they love. While we visited a few of the better known locations, some of the best photos came as a result of just parking the car and walking through the streets.

Alli and Johnny, we’re stoked for the season you’re in, how you love each other and have ventured out together to see where your dreams lead. We can’t wait to celebrate with y’all at your Nashville wedding next year!
